The Talk:
Martin Logan (me) will be giving a talk on OTP fundamentals. The talk will focus on behaviour basics and terminology and how this relates to OTP Application packages and then ultimately how Application packages relate to OTP Releases. After this talk you should be able to create sound OTP deployable units. This talk assumes some knowledge of Erlang; basically the ability to define modules and to read syntax.
P.S The meeting is BYOB

Second Monthly Meeting (with slideshow)
The second Chicago Erlang User Group meeting was a really nice time. Orbitz was kind enough to host it at their headquarters. About 17 folks showed up and so did about 10 different kinds of really nice beer - and some Ice House which remained unfinished. Lennart Ohman one of the creators of OTP came and gave a presentation which entertained everyone in attendance. You can find the presentation here where it is hosted on our google groups mailing list page.
